Long Valley Lodge – The All-Species Destination
Located on the banks of the mighty River Blanda, Long Valley Lodge is Iceland’s ultimate multi-species base. From salmon and sea-run browns to Arctic char and inland brown trout, this is where anglers come to pursue the “Icelandic Grand Slam.”
- Availability remains from June through August, though July is already heavily booked.
- Non-angling guests are also welcome, with comfortable accommodations and easy access to sightseeing tours in North Iceland.
Highland Fishing Lodge – Remote Wilderness, Trout & Char
The Icelandic Highlands are a fly fisher’s paradise: vast lava deserts, glacial rivers, moss-covered valleys, and wild brown trout and Arctic char in crystal-clear streams.

Battle Hill Lodge – Iceland’s Premier Sea Trout Fishery
The Skaftá watershed is home to Iceland’s largest runs of sea-run brown trout, and Battle Hill Lodge offers the only access to this world-class fishery.
- Fall season bookings will open on November 1, 2025 after this year’s guests have had first refusal.

Lake Þingvallavatn – Home of the Ice Age Browns
Fish Partner is the largest leaseholder on Iceland’s most famous trophy trout lake. Each season, limited rods are available to target these legendary “ice age” browns, fish that can reach amazing sizes
- Prime times for trophy browns: April, May, and September.
- Best for a mix of char and browns: June and July.
- Flexible trip options: Anglers can choose from multiple accommodation options, ranging from comfortable self-catering houses to luxury hotel by the lake
