The 2025 season at Battle Hill Lodge is off to a strong and memorable start.
Week 1 Highlights
- 5 anglers landed over 200 sea-run brown trout.
- Steady fishing throughout the week with a strong average of fish per rod.
- The biggest fish of the week measured 90 cm, a stunning early season specimen.
- Guests were treated not only to great fishing but also to incredible northern lights displays and top-notch cuisine from the lodge kitchen.
Week 2 Highlights
- 5 rods accounted for 167 sea trout — averaging 5.5 fish per rod per day.
- Early in the week, anglers faced bright sunshine and low water, demanding careful, technical fishing.
- Later, heavy rain and a dramatic rise in river levels led to the loss of nearly a full day of fishing.
- Despite the conditions, the group fished hard, adapted well, and produced another excellent week.
Looking Ahead
