August at the Highland Fishing Lodge — Through the Lens of Benjamin Ethridge

This August, we had the pleasure of welcoming photographer and angler Benjamin Ethridge to Iceland. His trip with us included time at the Highland Fishing Lodge as well as a visit to Lake Thingvallavatn, chasing its legendary brown trout.

Between long days on the water and evenings spent at the lodge, Benjamin captured the spirit of fishing in Iceland in a way that words rarely can. From sweeping Highland landscapes to the dramatic waters of Thingvallavatn, his images highlight both the raw beauty of these places and the unique fly fishing experiences that draw anglers here from around the world.

We’re excited to share a selection of his work below, a glimpse into late summer in Iceland and the magic that makes these fisheries so special.

Enjoy the gallery, and we look forward to seeing you on the water.
