Reykjanes Peninsula Private Tour
On this tour we combine all the best of the peninsula; the lake Kleifarvatn, Seltún geothermal park, the town of Grindavík with its important fishing industry, Gunnuhver, Iceland’s largest geothermal mud pool and Reykjanesviti lighthouse with its dramatic coast and surreal landscape. From there, weather permitting, we will have a view of the island Eldey.
We also visit „the bridge between continents“, a symbolic footbridge which crosses a fissure which provides evidence of the continental drift.
The Reykjanes Peninsula tour offers a great variety of landscapes, lava fissures, lava fields, and geothermal activity. It’s geologically Iceland‘s youngest part and it’s easy to forget that the capital center is less than 30 miles away.
