Battle Hill Lodge Photo Essay by Jess McGlothlin

Last month we had the pleasure of hosting photographer, writer, and passionate outdoorswoman Jess McGlothlin at our Battle Hill Lodge and Tungufljót River. The below are some of the photos she shot during her visit.

For more than fifteen years, photographer and writer Jess McGlothlin has worked as a photographer and writer for the fly-fishing industry in several countries. Her work has taken her around the globe, leading her to chase fish on six continents, and while on assignment in the past years, she’s learned how to throw spears at coconuts in French Polynesia, dodge saltwater crocodiles in Cuba, stand-up paddleboard down Peruvian Amazon tributaries, and eat all manner of unidentifiable food. She still enjoys airports. See more of her work at www.JessMcGlothlinMedia.com.
