Hagaós
Is a single bank beat in Brúará and Hólá rivers and is the junction beat of the two rivers. The beat is the bottom section of Hólá river(east bank), the junction of Hóla(east bank) and Brúará(west bank) and up Brúará(west bank) to the farm of Böðmóðstaðir(see beat map)
The area is known as a fantastic Arctic Char fishery, all though resident brown trout are also caught here. Late in the season, August/September a few Atlantic Salmon and Sea-Run Brown Trout are found in the area.
2 rods fish the beat and is upstream nymphing usually the most effective method.
The beat is 4km(2,4miles) long and consists of multiple fantastic pools and runs.
